Master Barista and author Giorgio Milos visits Ciao Bello this Friday

Not only is Giorgio Milos a Specialty Coffee Association of Europe-certified Trainer and Master Barista, Italian Barista Champion and top World Barista Championship contender, and now illy’s North American Barista in Residence, he’s also a professor and widely read author, whose articles have appeared in publications like The Atlantic Monthly, where he is a regular contributor.

Many consider Giorgio to be the greatest barista in the world today but he is always admired by food and wine connoisseurs for his erudite and intellectual approach to coffee and the art of coffee making.

If you’ve ever had an espresso (or any coffee for that matter) at Ciao Bello, you know that owner Tony Vallone is a coffee aficionado: all of his barista receive extensive training in how to properly prepare Italian coffee and he uses only the finest coffee available from the top purveyor of coffee in the U.S., illy (the historic coffee producer from Trieste, Italy, a benchmark around the world for its superb coffee).

Please join us this Friday, July 13, from 12 (noon) until 1:15 p.m. for a talk and demonstration by master barista Giorgio, who will pairing various coffee drinks with desserts from Tony Vallone’s menu at Ciao Bello.
