At Ciao Bello — where chef de cuisine Bobby Matos is a new father himself — we take particular pride in our Father’s Day menu. There’s nothing like seeing a family gathered around Dad to share a memorable meal and to remind him that he’s appreciated for everything he does.

If ever there were a day to treat dad to the best, this Sunday is it and Ciao Bello’s Father’s Day menu is centered around Tony Vallone’s authentic Italian recipes, executed with a “Maserati full of the best ingredients money can buy,” as one Houston food writer recently put it.

This year’s Father’s Day celebration features classic Roman Rigatoni all’Amatriciana, made with Umbrian guanciale, cured pig’s jowl, imported directly from Italy (above) and chef Bobby’s melt-in-your-mouth hanger steak with red wine reduction sauce.
