Scott Sulma featured by Chronicle wine writer Dale Robertson
If you’ve ever visited Ciao Bello (or any of the Vallone Family of restaurants), you probably already know him: Scott Sulma, partner and general manager at Ciao Bello (as well as Tony’s and Vallone’s).
He’s one of the most beloved and respected restaurant professionals in the city. But he’s also a “wine guy.”
A lot of people don’t realize that when he’s not accompanying a guest to a table or checking with diners to make sure that everything is to their liking, he’s busy sourcing and curating the Ciao Bello wine list.
Houston Chronicle wine writer Dale Robertson has turned to Scott on numerous occasions for his popular column “Sommelier’s Pick.”
